0.5 mm 400 Monel Sheet is a flat product of a nickel-copper alloy (primarily ~63% Ni, ~30% Cu) known for its exceptional corrosion resistance, especially in seawater, acids, and alkaline solutions, offering high strength, toughness, and durability across wide temperature ranges (sub-zero to over 1000°F). These sheets are formable, machinable, weldable, and widely used in marine, chemical processing, heat exchangers, pumps, and tanks due to their resistance to saltwater, steam, and chloride stress corrosion cracking, though they are poor in oxidizing acids like nitric acid.
